You would immerse yourself in incredible, natural surroundings of the Lake District, a mountainous region in North West England, famous not only for its lakes, forests and mountains (or fells) but also for its association with the early 19th century poetry and writings of William Wordsworth and the other Lake Poets. Lake District is also the largest and the most visited National Park in the United Kingdom, protected since 1951. There is simply so much to see and do on this great outdoors adventure! You will enjoy the delightful walks in Windermere and be captivated by the panoramic view of the beautiful lake at Brantfell. Spending the day at Lake District also means you can enjoy taking a tour on a ferry to different destinations to view the stunning patchwork of lakes, valleys and fells or you can even just hire your own boat with your friends on the lake, which is so much fun as well!
